About Us
My Goal
I am committed to sharing knowledge, best practices, and the latest updates in neonatal nursing. This platform serves as a hub for learning, collaboration, and professional development in the field of neonatal intensive care nursing for undergraduate nurses.
I aim to empower student nurses and midwives with the resources they need to deliver exceptional care to newborns in intensive care units during their placement.
Join me in my mission to enhance the knowledge and quality of care of student nurses learning to care for the tiniest patients and support their families through challenging times.
What is NICU
Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) nursing is a specialized field dedicated to the care of critically ill newborn infants. These tiny patients may be premature, have birth defects, or experience respiratory, cardiac, or other medical complications during or after delivery.
This demanding role requires advanced clinical knowledge, exceptional technical skills, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of these fragile infants and their families.
Neonatal nurses provide expert care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with complex medical procedures. They also offer invaluable support to anxious parents, helping them understand their baby's condition and participate in their care.
About Me

With over two decades of nursing experience, I am a dedicated neonatal and paediatric specialist. My expertise was solidified through a postgraduate Neonatal Nursing Transition course in 2013, leading to extensive work in Neonate Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and Neonatal Emergency Transport Service (NETS).
Since 2022, I have shared my passion for neonatal care by mentoring undergraduate nursing and midwifery students in the NICU.
Committed to lifelong learning, I thrive on sharing knowledge and skills to empower both colleagues and students.
